O'Neal Steel coming to St. Joseph next month


ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - An Alabama-based steel company is expanding its national footprint and moving into Missouri. O'Neal Steel announced it will open a new metal distribution center in St. Joseph on June 1.

Vice President of Economic Development Brad Loux told KXCV/KRNW that the facility will initially serve one strategic partner, it's expected to grow into a wholesale metal distribution center in the coming years.

The distribution center will be located at South 22nd and Southwest Parkway.
